At 14, Christa quietly launched her first small business from her parents’ trailer—reselling preloved clothes she hunted down at the local thrift store. During back-to-school shopping, her mom would take her and her sister to $5 fill-a-bag days, where Christa saw opportunity instead of just clothes. While others would probably pick items for themselves, she scouted pieces she knew she could flip, using a bit of eBay know-how that she picked up along the way. That first month, after reinvesting everything back into new finds, she made $444—a small number, but a huge spark. It was the first time she realized something exciting: with curiosity, creativity, and action, she could turn nothing into something, and in that moment, she knew this was only the beginning of her journey.
By 10th grade, Christa was already chasing her next adventure—her second business. She took a $60 flea market violin and turned it into something extraordinary: $500 gigs at weddings, private yachts, and private lessons for kids whose eager parents were happy to pay. That chapter taught her a lesson about business she’s never forgotten: value isn’t in the object itself; it’s in the emotion it creates. Clients invested in exclusivity, in feeling, in the atmosphere she built around her craft. Parents wanted to see their children shine. A boyfriend on a yacht wanted to give his soon-to-be bride a moment she’d never forget. A bride at her beach wedding wanted her guests to experience something rare—Johnny Cash on the violin as she walked down the aisle. They weren’t buying the music—they were buying a memory.
Christa enlisted in the Army in 2012 without fully knowing what she was stepping into. After completing Intelligence School the following spring, she was stationed in Korea—briefing commanding generals and supporting joint operations between the U.S. and Republic of Korea. The experience was fast-paced, intense, and a true crash course in the world of military intelligence. She quickly became known for her ability to distill complex information into clear insights, building top-secret reports and presenting them to some of the highest-ranking leaders in the country. Her performance earned her a personal recommendation from the Chief of Staff to work directly with another major intelligence team.
By 2014, she transitioned into the Criminal Investigation Division, applying her analytical skills to uncover patterns behind issues like drug use and sexual assaults within military units. Her talent and approachable style led to invitations to specialized conferences in D.C., Quantico, and Seattle, and she soon traveled across the country training intelligence leaders at unit HQs. But what mattered most to Christa wasn’t the work itself—it was discovering her love for teaching and leading. She started hosting leadership workshops and even led yoga sessions for senior leaders, earning the nickname “SGT Sunshine.” Watching people light up—whether learning something new about themselves or simply finding a reason to smile—showed her that her greatest impact came from helping others recognize their own strength and potential.
In 2016, Christa attended the prestigious Henry H. Lind Leadership Academy, marking a pivotal moment in her leadership journey. This immersive experience provided an expansion of skills in public speaking, servant leadership, team building, conflict management, and training management, all of which enhanced her approach to guiding individuals towards becoming great leaders. She believes in leading by example, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration, where individuals are empowered to realize their full potential. Through her mastery of these competencies, Christa instills confidence and inspires growth in those she leads, creating a culture of excellence and achievement.
Christa has earned more than 10 certifications from around the world, but the one she treasures most is her Master Resilience Trainer certification from the University of Pennsylvania. She believes that any roadblock can be turned into a building block with the right mindset, and her natural resilience, paired with formal training, gives her the tools to help others do the same. Whether guiding people through tough situations or teaching practical strategies to handle challenges, Christa helps others build confidence, bounce back stronger, and grow both personally and professionally—even when things feel uncertain.
While on active duty, Christa started her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, a subject she’d loved growing up in Florida. Even though it wasn’t directly related to intelligence work, her enthusiasm and dedication carried her through. She began her studies while stationed in Korea, juggling coursework with the demands of military life. With limited resources—sometimes taking finals in the field between long shifts using only a phone hotspot—she never gave up. By 2019, Christa completed her capstone while stationed in Washington State, proving that determination can overcome almost any obstacle.
Over the years, Christa had launched a few businesses even while serving in the military, and her love for entrepreneurship didn’t stop there. Inspired by her Environmental Science degree, in 2019 she founded her next venture: Seals Swimwear, a sustainable swimwear company committed to environmental stewardship and philanthropy. Using recycled ocean waste, the brand creates stylish, eco-friendly pieces while actively engaging communities through beach clean-ups, often managing around 250 volunteers per event. Even during the pandemic, Christa found ways to give back, donating thousands of pieces of medical equipment to local hospitals. Through Seals Swimwear, she blends her passions for sustainability, leadership, and impact, inspiring positive change every step of the way.
After retiring from the Army in 2020, Christa returned home to Florida to be with her parents, both of whom were battling cancer. Having missed so many birthdays, weddings, funerals, and the arrival of new family members during her years of service, she was determined to make up for lost time. Over the next year, she focused on reconnecting and cherishing every moment with her family. That period of closeness set the stage for the next chapter of her life, and in the spring of 2021, she and her fiancé welcomed their first child. Family remains at the heart of everything she does.
In 2017, while stationed in Washington State, Christa dove into real estate investing, driven by a mix of financial curiosity and a desire to create great homes for future families. She taught herself the ropes—reading books, studying her mentors’ strategies, and spending countless hours on YouTube—so she could make smart, informed decisions. As she discovered strategies that delivered strong returns, her portfolio grew to include properties across Texas, Tennessee, New Jersey, and Maryland. Along the way, she shared her knowledge with friends and family, helping them make smart investments and earn thousands more each year, proving that success is even sweeter when it’s shared.
She recently served as a temporary CEO for a data company, helping get it off the ground before passing the reins. From the very beginning of her journey, Christa has been passionate about helping people bring their visions to life. Drawing on her experiences in leadership, resilience, and entrepreneurship, she founded Envision Consulting to help individuals and teams explore possibilities, overcome obstacles, and move toward the vision they’ve been imagining—no matter where they’re starting. With a focus on clarity, confidence, and actionable steps, Christa empowers her clients to see their ideas take shape, watch their dreams come to life, and do exactly what they’ve envisioned for themselves.
